London

We arrived in London yesterday (Sunday) and promptly sought out some fish & chips, bangers & mash, and red telephone booths.

 

Today it was raining and snowing. We took a bus tour and people got off at different points to explore the sights. We saw the tower Bridge, and toured the Tower of London.

 

We also toured the reconstructed Globe Theatre. It was built with authentic materials, including a thatched roof. There are no productions running in the winter, but we got too see the stage and they are constructing a smaller indoor Jacobean theater that should be open next winter.
