Yesterday (Tuesday) we took a day trip to Bath and Stonehenge. Everyone really liked Bath where little shops and restaurants are tucked in every alley. We enjoyed visiting the Roman bath there, and we all wished we had more time to spend exploring the town.

| The bath still has its original lining. |

| I was impressed by the drains the Romans constructed.. |
Stonehenge was amazing to see. The circles of tones were put in place 5000 years ago. The smaller stones of the inner circle were transported over a long distance. The site may have been a burials place, a place of worship, or something else altogether. The stones are aligned with the midsummer sunrise and midwinter sunset.
Today we saw Westminster Abbey, the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace, and then we split off into a variety of small groups. My group went to the Sherlock Holmes museum, the Charles Dickens House, and then Harrod's department store. Harrod's has everything from restaurants to televisions to crystal to baby clothes.

Later, I met one of my college roommates, Farida, for dinner. We had not seen each other for 15 years, but it was just like old times!
Groups have also been going to many great shows in London, including The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Lion King, Wicked, and more.
